1747, Oct. 30. Jonathan Hampton makes complaint that Mary Blanchard
and John Halstead, executors of above will, refuse to bring the same [page
49] to the Prerogative office; they are therefore cited to appear at the
Secretary of States Office at Perth Amboy, March 21st, next, to bring the
will and have it duly proved. Lib. E, p. 101.
1748, March 19. Executors decline to act and desire that the
administration be granted to Jonathan Hampton, principal creditor.
1748, May 4. Bond of Jonathan Hampton, of Elizabeth borough, yeoman
as administrator. Ellis Crisy, fellow bondsman.
1743, May 16. Blanchard, Philip, of Allaways Creek, Salem Co.,
yeoman; will of. To sister, Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Ware, my plantation
(150 acres) at Alaways Creek, she paying 10 each to Jeremiah Powels
children: John, Elizabeth and Mary Powel, when they will be 21, or at
marriage. Executors Brothers-in-law, Joseph Ware and Jeremiah Powell.
