January 20th ~ James STETSER's wife deceased.
January 20th ~ Caleb SLICHTER deceased.
January 31st ~ Nathan TREADWAY and Peter WHEATEN, Sr. both deceased a few
days ago.
February 12th ~ Report of Peace between United States and Great Britain.
February 15th ~ Nathan WEATHERBY deceased.
February 18th ~ Woodbury generally illuminated tonight in consequence of
Peace between United States and Great Britain.
February 24th ~ Samuel REEVE [REEVES] buried at Greenwich, his place of abode.
February 28th ~ A boy of 13 years old accidentally killed at DILK's Mill.
March 11th ~ Attended Funeral of Isaiah WARD, Jr. in his 19th year of age.
March 14th ~ Doctor Eli AYRES' [AYRE~?] wife, Elizabeth, deceased. She was
the late widow of George WHITALL and daughter of Charles WEST of Timber Creek.
March 16th ~ Thomas P. CLARK and Deborah E. KAY married.
March 16th ~ John WISTAR of Salem, deceased.
March 22nd ~ Mary WILLIAMS informed me that she was born in 1740, the last
month in ye year.
March 22nd ~ Ruth SPARKS, widow of John SPARKS, deceased at aged about 77
years.
March 23rd ~ Heard cousin [Joseph ~ Joshia ~ ?] Jos. MICKLE's second wife,
Rebecca, deceased.
March 28th ~ Jonathan HARKER deceased.
March 30th ~ Lorenzo DOW at Court House meeting.
April 2nd ~ Benjamin HERITAGE, Sr. deceased about a week ago.
April 22nd ~ Zephania HOPPER deceased.
May 16th ~ Samuel STERLING's son, Joseph, interred in Friends Burial Ground
today.
May 25th ~ Paul SCULL and Hope KAY married.
July 21st ~ Cousin Henry RULON deceased.
July 26th ~ Samuel PORCH, Jr. killed by lightning near Bethel.
August 17th ~ Hester COX, daughter of Edward ANDREWS, deceased; widow of
Joseph REEVES of Little Timber Bridge; and lately married to David COX
[COCKS], deceased today.
August 21st ~ Elizabeth HENDRY, wife of Dr. Thomas HENDRY, deceased. They
were married the 12th month 1774.
August 22nd ~ Amos COLLINS, Jr. interred today.
August 25th ~ Joseph GIBSON, Sr. deceased in 92nd year of his age.
September 15th ~ [James ~ Jason ~?] Jas. HOPKINS' child, Mary, aged about
seven or eight years, deceased.
September 19th ~ Brick wall began laying on top of stone one in front of
grave yard.
September 30th ~ Vendue of some personal estate of Richard SNOWDEN who
removed yesterday to Philadelphia by his daughters, Rebecca and Sarah SNOWDEN.
October 1st ~ A Methodist Stranger named THOMPSON, from North Branch of
Susquehanna, undertook a sermon for us.
October 11th ~ Election in Woodbury.
October 26th ~ Cousin James MICKLE deceased in his 68th year of age. He was
born 10-26-1747 old style. Buried at Upper Greenwich 27th.
November 2nd ~ Rebecca BLACKWOOD, widow in Woodbury, deceased.
November 8th ~ Hannah WELLS, sister of Benjamin CLOUD's wife, deceased.
December 29th ~ Benjamin TURNER deceased yesterday.
