1693 Dec. 6. Bradway, Edward, of Monmouth River, Salem Co., yeoman;
will of. Wife Mary. Children William, who has son Edward; Susanna, Sarah,
Hannah, the last three under age; grandson John, son of Wm. Cooper, of
Salem, decd. Real and personal estate (379 acres on Stowe Creek, called
Stowe Neck, home farm of 800 acres at the mouth of Monmouth River, 500 a.
occupied by son William). Executors the wife and Bartholomew Wyatt.
Witnesses Joseph White, Saml Wade, Saml Hedge. Codicill of March 16,
1693-4, mentions daughter Mary Kenton and disposes of four negro slaves.
Witnesses Joseph White, Saml Wade, John Pledger, Saml Hedge and Richd
Darkin. Proved April 14, 1694.
1694 5th d. 2d m. (April). Inventory of the personal estate,
352.11.1, incl. 4 slaves, 60, made by Edward Wade and Samuel Wade.
1694 --------. Letters testamentary granted to the executors named in
the will. Salem Wills, Lib. A, pp. 108 et seq.
1714 Sept. 30. Bradway, Jonathan and Elizabeth, infants under 16
years elect as their guardians Joseph Stretch and Nathaniel Champneys, to
whom letters of guardianship are given. Lib. 2, p. 30.
1696 8th d. 6th m. (August). Bradway, Mary, of Monmouth River, alias
Allaways Creek, widow; will of. Children Hannah Bradway, Mary Middleton,
Sarah Hall, William Bradway. Personal estate (a negro girl). Executors
son William and Richard Darkin. Witnesses Saml Wade, John Remington.

1710 May 3. Bradway, William, of Stow Creek, Salem Co., gentleman;
will of. Wife Patience. Children William, Edward (eldest son), Jonathan,
John, Mary, Elizabeth, all under age; Sarah Wright. Real and personal
estate. Executors the wife and son William. Witnesses Joseph Stretch,

County, cordwainer; will of. Son, John, when 21, to have 50 acres at head
of Cohansie, bought of Daniel Davis and Arthur Davis. Wife, Mary.
Daughter, Hannah. Children of brother, William Clark. Executrix wife,
Mary, with son, John, when he will be of age. Witnesses William
Weatherby, Simon Sparks, Thomas Sparks, Richard Sparks, Nathaniel Box.

1739, June 14. Inventory (176.11.8) includes one sword, 18
sheepskins and sole leather, calf skins in the hair, dry kids and leather in
the tan vats, wheat and corn, etc. Appraisers Jonathan Bradway, William
Weatherby.

guardian. Ward, Bradway Casbey, orphan son of Edward Casbey, late of Salem,
