the estate (72.6.10), including 1 gun and sword; a loom and reed; note of
James Cox.
1746, Nov. 10. Bond of John Burroughs, of Trenton Township, yeoman,
as administrator. John Mathews, of Hopewell Township, yeoman, surety.

1720, June 19. Burroughs, Samuel, of Waterford, Gloucester Co.,
yeoman. Son, Samuel to have the 200 acres of land I live on, bought of
Richard Broomley and 100 acres on the other side of the creek, bought of
John Walker, he to pay my daughter Hannah, when 21, 50, and same to my
daughter Esther, when 21. Son, John, to have 400 acres, bought of Joseph
Heritage and John Waler Junior. Son, Joseph, 400 acres (150 acres bought of
Godfrey Harsfilder, 150 of Samuel Coles, 100 acres of Joseph Heritage).
Son, Benjamin, 100 acres purchased of Jacob Spicer, and 100 acres purchased
of John Estaugh. Daughter Sarah, at 21, 100 acres bought of Hugh Sharp.
Wife, Hannah, during life, 400 acres by the river side, purchased of Edward
Tue and, after her death, to expected child. Wife, Hannah, sole executrix.
She to give my son Samuel three cows or to pay him 7 above which was given
him by his grandfather, Jno. Taylor. But he not to possess the land before
23 years of age, except she allows it. Witnesses Thomas Eves, Junr., John
