Co., blacksmith; will of. Son, David, lands bought of Jeremiah Bird and
Richard Lambert. Son, Lues (minor), lands bought of Lues Winans and William
Winans, joining land of John Shotwell. Daughters Hannah and Abigail
Brant, both under age. Executors wife, Susannah, brother, William Brant,
and friend, William Shotwell, of Rahway. Witnesses Samuel Marsh, John
Tooker, Josiah Winans. Proved Oct. 25, 1744. Lib. D, p. 189.
1744, Oct. 25. Samuel Marsh, Quaker, affirmed to his signature, and
Joseph Shotwell, Quaker, qualified as executor.
