1704 April 25. Lanstaff, Elizabeth, appointed guardian of James
Langstaff, a minor of 15 years, who has chosen her. Lib. 1, p. 75.
1673 June 11. Langstaf, John, of Bergen. Bond of, for holding
harmless the Town of Piscattaway from the charge of maintaining a child, of
which Elizabeth Fitzrendall of said town accuses him to be the father.
1703 Nov. 27. Langstaf, John, of Springfield, Burlington Co., yeoman;
will of. Sons Moses, James and Laban. Real property in Swaledale,
Yorkshire, England, and in the Parish of Leeds, same Co.; plantation in
Burlington Co. Personal estate. Executors sons Moses and James.
Witnesses Deborah Langstaff, John Garwood, Chris. Snoden. Proved April 1,
1704. Lib. 1, p. 40.
1704 April 22. Inventory of the personal estate, 255.4.6, incl. 20
for a servant lad; made by Restore Lippincott, Samuel Lippincott, John
Woolston and William Budd.
1704 April 25. Bond of Elizabeth Langstaff as administratrix of the
estate. William Budd fellow bondsman. A note on this bond mentions that
Elizabeth Langstaff was made guardian of James at his request.
