I just wanted everyone to know if you have sent to the NJ State Registrar for Birth or Death Records, they are backlogged months and have hired a backlog team to get the ball rolling on all requests from the begining of the year to August (I think the rest are being worked by the people who created the backlog originally LOL). I requested three on June 11th and haven't received them yet. When I called this morning the kind woman said she would put a "complaint" in for me and that they should be mailed out by next week. She said that they work these "complaints" first. So, if you are waiting I would call them and complain at 609-292-4087 - that's if you can get through.
