I am trying to find information on my gggrandfather, Henry B. Palmer (born
April 4, 1840). I understand that he was the first mayor of Tenafly. I do
not have any other information on him. His son (my ggrandfatehr was
William (Willie) Huyler Palmer. I understand from family stories that my
Willie was disinherited by his father. Henry's wife was Mary Margaret
Huyler (born May 30, 1840).

Any information you might have on the family would be appreciated.

Also, I am planning to visit Bergen County in June. Can you tell me any
places that I should go to do research. Thanks for your time.
