While reading "Background of Ho-Ho-Kus History", by Sue F. Hudson, there was
mention of a tavern that was owned by Samuel Banta. I was wondering if
anyone could tell me if this Samuel Banta was any relation to Samuel Banta
and Elizabeth Eckerson? Also, would anyone know where it would be possible
to find records regarding this tavern?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
