A pretty good centennial-type history book was put out on Old Tappan (which
once was and still is in New Jersey) a couple of years ago. "Old Tappan -
Centennial 1894-1994 Edition," Ed. by Jo Haight, 1994, 80 pp., paperback. I
believe it was, and perhaps still is, available through the Old Tappan
library and/or city hall. The library is at 56 Russell Ave., O.T. 07675
