It's hard to tell without seeing the card if it is FROM Bergen Co.
Certainly there was and still is a renowned (Nat'l Register and
Architectural Digest) Vreeland house in Leonia, but unless the card, the
postmark, or the sender hints at where the picture was taken, it would be
difficult to determine. The fact that it is addressed TO East Orange (Essex
co.), doesn't necessarily mean anything. If you would like to donate it to
the Bergen Co. Hist. Society, we will try to identify it. Send it to me
(I'm the President) at 171 Cedar St., Englewood, NJ 07631. And, thanks for
