Elysa --

They may not have published obituaries as we know them today, but death
information may have been published in their local columns. I'm not really
familiar with the paper for that time period, but shortly before that, in
the 1890s, The Bergen County Democrat and the Hackensack Republican were
running "local" columns that were very chatty, and might have included
notices of deaths. If you're local to Hackensack, I would give those
newspapers a look. I'm not sure whether or not the Democrat and the
Republican were still being issued in 1907 and 1910. The Johnson Public
Library in Hackensack has all three papers on microfilm. And there might
even have been an Englewood paper at that date; ask the librarian at
Johnson Public Library.
