On 3/19/99 I posted the following query:
Subj: Paterson Girls' School
<A HREF="mailto:"> </A>
I bought three yearbooks at a house sale.
January 1923, February 1925 and June 1925.
Where was the Girls' High School? There is a picture of the "Paterson High
School".
The only Paterson High Schools that I remember were Central and Eastside.

Several people answered my letter. Thank you again. I was surprised how
many Bergen County members have Paterson roots.

It's raining and I did some rainy day reading. Going through the above named
yearbooks, I was surprised to see that so many of the young ladies belonged
to the Swastika Society. Of course, it must have had a different meaning in
1923 and 1925.

What was the Swastika Society? What do the initials J.M.O.L.H. and T.A.F.O
stand for also listed under Societies.
