Here are some more notes on Hannah Courter's father, William Courter.

1807 12 May 1807 William Courter and Catherine, his wife of Franklin
Township sell to William Courter of Franklin 20 acres of land in Franklin for
$278. It is part of lot #47 beginning at a fork or meeting of two brooks
"frin brook" to corner of lot #53 in the the Ramapo Tract.

S 48.10 E 14.65 chains to a stake,
N 20.20 E 2.80 chains,
S 50.55 E 7.65 chains,
S 41 W 16.25 chains to a stake,
N 50.45 W 8.10 chains to a heap of stones,
along NS line,
