I think you will find that Overpeck Creek wanders across Pallisade
Avenue in Englewood and northerly past Brookside Cemetery and into the
hills in Tenafly.
There is also the Tenakill Brook that starts in Tenafly and flows
northerly and ends as a feeder to the Hackensack River near what is
now Harrington Park. This confluence is now inundated by the Oradell
Reservoir. Around Northvale is the Sparkill Creek that flowed to the
north across the state line.
