Hi all,

Would someone be kind enough to look up two obituaries for me? This would help my research greatly!

Robert Valdemar Neumann (AKA "Walter")
born Dec. 10, 1904 in New York
died April 1984 in Garfield, NJ
Note: Obit might be listed under the name Walter Neumann, since that was the name he went by.

Margaret Neumann (AKA "Margie")
born Sept 22, 1912
died Dec. 1998 in Garfield, NJ

I read at the website for the Garfield Public Library that archives for the Bergen Record (from 1984 on) are searchable in person. Perhaps this is also true at other Bergen County libraries. Also, although Garfield is in Bergen County, the obit may have been placed in a Passaic County paper (is the Herald still around?). I am looking for the name of the Funeral Home, Margaret's maiden name and place of birth, and names of surviving kin. If possible, I would appreciate a photocopy being sent to me - of course, I will reimburse for copies and postage. Please post here AND email me directly to let me know if someone can help me out. I can reciprocate with a New York City lookup. Thanks!!!
