Pat and others actually Geesje Westervelt was Steven's second wife, and Maria
was his third. It is likely that Antje dau. of Stephen and Rachel Hopper,
his first wife, was the wife of Andrew D. Terhune, he was the son of Dirk
Terhune and Leah Hopper and Antje's second cousin once removed. Also their
dau. Trientje was likely the wife of Abraham A. Quackenbush. Thanks Judy and
Pat you filled in alot of blanks.

I really worked on this one and Jan S. and Margrietje Ackerman are a direct
line.

248 RACHEL H. HOPPE(R), dau. of Hendrick J./I. Hoppe(r) (#64) and
Catharine (Trientje) Van Houten, was b. in or near Paramus; bap. 26 Jun 1742,
at Par.RDCh. She d. sometime after her fourth child was baptized in Jul of
1769, and before Nov 1770 when her widower remarried. Rachel H. Hoppe wit.
the bap. in Jan 1762, of her sister Claertje's child. Soon after she m.
Stephen Bogert, the son of Jan Bogert (Boagaert) and Antje Westervelt. He was
b. 15 Aug 1739; bap. as "Stephenes" on 30 Sep 1739, at Hack. RDCh. (p. 180).
Stephen m. second Geesje Westervelt, by NJ license da. 23 Nov 1770 On 18
Oct 1772, Rachel's brother Garrit H. Hopper (#245) named his dau. Rachel,
and Steven Bogert and his second wife Geesje were wit. Sterven m. third ca.
1781, Maria Westervelt. Maria was b. 18 May 1749, and d. 16 Mar 1834 aged
84y-9m-20d (Bible and gs.) and is bur. in the Paramus RDChyd. in Ridgewood NJ
(gs.#539). Stephen Bogert and wife Maria were members of the Par. RDCh on
abt. 1 May 1799 (p. 143). Steven d. 29 May 1818, aged 78y-9m-14d (Bible). No
record of Steven or Rachel's bur.
