The upcoming meeting for WCGS is this coming Saturday, October 12, 2002 at
Aldersgate Memorial United Methodist Church, Dobbs Ferry.. Meeting starts at
10 a.m. but come earlier to network with your fellow genealogists. Brother
Harry Dunkak will be speaking on "The American Revolution Comes to
Westchester." Brother Dunkak is a professor at Iona College in New Rochelle.

The 2002 Surname List from WCGS has arrived! The 2002 Surname List contains
3,837 surnames being researched by 209 members who have submitted 5,159
surnames. Westchester names are highlighted in the list. The Surname List is
free to all its present members. You can receive the surname list in 2 ways:
at the monthly meetings or by having it mailed to you. For non-members, the
cost of the 2002 Surname List is $8, which includes the postage. The 1999 and
1997 Surname Lists are still available at a cost of $5.
