There is a Grove Church Cemetery in Hudson County.

I had a good response from them, after sending a letter with a SSAE and a
check for $10.00 which I said could be a donation if nothing was found or
they could say I would owe more for a search and transcription. I received
a reply in my SSAE and there was no extra charge.

My g-g-g-grandfather Joseph MASTERS (ca. 1799-1892) is buried there with
other family members. He had raised a family in the New Durham area but
late in life lived with a son on Staten Island, making himself difficulty
to track dying in Queens while visiting a daughter. I have been told the
cemetery is well kept and attractive.
