My husband's grandfather was the first Commander of the American Legion Post 204 in Dec 1919. Seeking anyone who would have old photos of members or officers of American Legion during that time. He died in 1928. He was a WWI vet as a Major. His name was Dr. Robert W. Rodman, Sr. He was also one of the original trustees of the Allendale Fire Depart during the 1920's. Have written to both the American Legion and the Fire Dept with no responses from either. We have no photos of my husband's family beyond his parents and are trying to put faces on those we have only read about. Will gladly pay costs to have photos reproduced.. Any help greatly appreciated.
