I checked an online source of obituaries that includes The Record for this period. (The Record is the major newspaper for this area.) There was no obituary for Maria Jackowski. There may still be a paid death notice for her; this will not appear in the online database that I have access to. Try going to the Genealogical Society of Bergen County web site, and sending in a request through that. A volunteer who is going to one of the libraries may be able to help you. Here's the link:
