Hi, everybody!

We haven't posted our surname interests in quite a while, and today
seems like a good day to do so ....

We're searching for anyone related to William Henry KAYE, born 1854 in
Philadelphia; he married Fannie Edmondson in Yorkshire, England (where
his father's family was from), in 1876, came back to the US shortly
thereafter and settled in the Philadelphia area. By 1886, though, the
family had crossed over to Gloucester County.

Fannie died February 17, 1927, probably in Woodbury; William Henry died
May 4, 1931, in Woodbury.

He and Fannie had 8 children:

Harry Edmondson KAYE (1877-1937) m. Elizabeth QUINN(?) [or SULLIVAN??]
John KAYE b. and d. Sept 1878
Elizabeth Worthington KAYE (1879-1906)
Richard KAYE b. Nov 1880, d. ??; m. Ethel Mae BARNABY
William KAYE b. May 1882, m. Genevieve SCHULTZ
Edward KAYE (1883-1954) m. Elizabeth EDWARDS **(husband's
grandparents)**
Alfred KAYE (1886-1940) m. Anna May NEWCOMER
Sarah Gertrude KAYE (1894-1942) m. Robert Henry SELFRIDGE

The first six of these children were born in Philly. Alfred was born in
Deptford Twp., NJ; Sarah in Woodbury.

Edward and Elizabeth KAYE also had at least 8 children: Mary Etta,
Edward Jr., Thomas, twins Richard and John, Frank, and at least two
whose names we haven't yet discovered.

Frank was my husband's father. Frank was born May 5, 1922, in Woodbury;
he married Evelyn Irene PETERSON about 1950 and settled in Florida.
After the birth of my husband (also named Frank) and a daughter who died
shortly after birth, the family moved to Chicago, where three more
children were born. They returned to Florida about 1960.

Evelyn passed away in 1980; Frank in 1981.

If you have ties to any of these folks, or know of anyone who does,
please get in touch!

Happy hunting!
