The Gloucester County Historical Society lists Strangers Burying Ground (Wescottville Cemetery) as one of cemeteries that they maintain listings of burials for (an online database) at http://www.rootsweb.com/~njglouce/gchs/cemetery.html.htm
Wescottville is located in Deptford Township, Gloucester County, about 6 miles from the Delaware River. It is on Clements' Bridge Road, abour 1/2 mile from its junction of Cooper Street, and is roughly the area where Clements' Bridge intersects with Caulfield Avenue. Although not incorporated, it does show on maps issued by the state of New Jersey through at least the 1960s. As for the exact location of this cemetery, I'm afraid I do not know that, but I'm sure the Gloucester County Historical Society does.
If you have problems locating it, there are other interesting burial grounds in this area. Another one is the "Colonial Cemetery" in Mount Royal NJ. I was recently contacted by a descendant of Abraham Jones, a revolutionary war soldier who is buried there, and I have all of the documents proving his service. Let me know if your son is interested in that cemetery.
I hope this helps you.

Does anyone have information on the Strangers Burial Ground? My neighbor's son wants to research it and clean it up for his Eagle Scout project. Any information or names would help him . Thank you . Dave Steckel,Wenonah,NJ
