Jane,

In March 1878 the NJ legislature approved the name of the townshp of West Woolwich to that of Logan. Irishtown was a village/section in Woolwich township. Since you were looking at an 1876 map, its self-explanatory why you didn't see the township of Logan.

The history of Logan can be found here on my Gloucester County NJ web site:
http://www.nj.searchroots.com/Gloucesterco/images/Logan-history.pdf

The only member of the McNulty family you mention that I can definitely locate in 1900 is the son Charles McNulty who appears to be a manufacturer of baskets in Washington Township, Gloucester Co. NJ

Hope this helps

Seeking any information on Terence and Catharine McNulty, both born Ireland,
believed to be living Woolrich Township 1860s to after 1880. Children were
Charles, Michael, Joshua, Maria, all born 1860s. In 1880 census, the three boys
were all working as laborers on farms near Bridgeport
(farms of Henry Sharp, James Kirby and Horner)
1880 census shows the family in Logan Township, but I can't seem to locate
this township on the 1876 Gloucester County atlas.
In looking at the 1876 map of Woolrich Township, I see an area called
Irishtown. Is there anyone on the list who knows about the history of Irishtown?
Thanks for your help. Jane
