See VitalChek for New Jersey at
http://www.vitalchek.com/displayprovider.asp?provider=2920
you can order copies of records online or via fax - they say genealogical
requests must be in writing, but I placed an order via fax once.
There used to be information at the site as to what time period they
covered, and which records were in the State Archives, the site doesn't
seem to have that information any longer, but I don't think the years you
mention would be in the State Archives.
Good luck,
Anne Rendall
