Is anyone familiar with the United States Volunteer Life Saving Corps? I
believe it was the forrunner of the Coast Guard, I know that it was in
operation in Hudson County at the turn of the century and into the 1910
decade. There was a Hoboken station which was known as the Donahue District
Division.

Appreciate any information
