On Monday, May 17 the seventh grade class of the Academy in Jersey City
will have a class trip to Pershing Field in Jersey City to transcribe the
names from over 140 monuments for local residents killed in America's Wars.
The trip is designed to help the children learn more about history through
genealogy. The names will then be listed on the Hudson County GenWeb site
for future research. We will also attempt to provide an obituary for each
of the soldiers.
