City directories are also available in the Library of Congress for those
of you who live close to Wahsington, DC.

In addition to LDS Family History Centers, Jersey City Directories, which
include Hoboken, are available at:
(1) The New Jersey Room of the Jersey City Public Library. The
directories here are the actual books or photocopies of the actual books.
(2) The Hoboken Library. I have not been here. When I called, the
staff member with whom I spoke told me told me that the Jersey City Public
Library's books were in better condition.
(3) The New York City Public Library's Social Science Research Center
on Fifth Ave. between 41st and 42nd St., Manhattan. The directories are on
microfilm in open cabinets in the microfilm reading room.
(4) As I recall from previous discussions of this subject, they are
also available at the Morristown, NJ public library and somewhere in the
New Brunswick, NJ area.
