The office should be able to help you with that. In Union City street names
and number street names changed in 1925 when Union Hill and West Hoboken
merged to become UC. The UC P.O. had a publication that was issued in 1945
by the Hudson Dispatch Newspaper with the conversions. I know that they
also had Weehawken in there so perhaps it was for all of Hudson County. If
Jersey City PO doesn't have the information -- then UC PO might.
I found out recently that the records for Bremen Funeral Home in West New
York is now held by Vainieri Funeral Home at 5923 Kennedy Blvd. North
Bergen, NJ 201-868-6555. I obtained my father's records and they were very
nice and accommodating.
