The Badtrain virus is still around. Just sent to me as an attachment from
someone on this list - thankfully I didn't open it. I had gotten this virus
off the NJ-Cenus-L site several
weeks ago and it took 3 hours to get rid of it. I use Norton Anti-Virus and
was a
week behind in my updates. I foolishly opened an attachment then because it
appeared to be in response to a query I put on the list. The way it works,
if you get it by clicking the infected attachment, your computer then sends
it out to all e-mails you haven't responded to yet, and it appears to them
to be a response.
So keep your anti-virus updates current, and don't click to open any
attachment unless you've written back to confirm that the sender intended to
send it. - Ray
