Hello everyone:

There is apparently some confusion between two similarly named lists:

NJHudson-L
NJHudson-Projects-L

NJHudson-L has been around for a long time and is designed for members
to exchange messages and queries about genealogy and family history as
they relate to Hudson Co., NJ.

However, there is another list, NJHudson-Projects-L that is causing
confusion, at least among new subscribers. To quote from Bob
Murgittroyd, the listowner, "NJHuson-Projects has been around for quite
some time. [Its purpose is] for the people working on the Hudson Genweb
project to communicate with each other on projects for the web site.
The problem may be a re-organization at Rootweb that put the [Projects]
list next to the Hudson County [NJHudson-L] list without any explanation
of the difference."

So NJHuson-Projects is NOT for genealogy, but rather it's an internal US Genweb "workers" list. If you want to exchange genealogical information, please use the original NJHudson-L list, not the Projects list. I would suggest unsubscribing to Projects so as to "unclutter" its membership list and then only post genealogy related messages to NJHudson-L.
