Many of us here in Hudson County with an interest in history often talk about the large number of train accidents reported in the old Hudson County newspaper. We believe that the area was so heavily covered by train tracks that many accidents were the result.
The Jersey City Landmarks Conservatory conducts a historical tour from the new light rail trolley in JC and they note that people now are much safer from train collisions than our ancestors.
>From all of your comments that seems to be true.
