I couldn't find an obit in the Star Ledger. There was a little notice in
the Daily Record

Hopatcong - Mrs. Bessie Bartlett, 83, of
Northwood and Jersey City, died yesterday
(July 8, 1955) at Dover General Hospital after
a short illness. She had been a summer resident
here. Funeral arrangements are made through
a Jersey City funeral home.
