You don't mention approximate ages or years of
birth. I found nothing in Hudson Co, NJ in the
1860, but the 1870 yielded the following Caffrey
family:
Thomas, 40, born Ireland
Annie, 38, born Ireland
Edward, 22, born NJ
Rose, 19, "
Kate, 15, "
Ellen, 13, "
Sabina, 7, "
John, 2, "

The same family appeared again in the 1880 in
Jersey City, Distr. 1, where they were before.

A search of all states in the 1860 did yield
several John Caffreys, but none in the state of
NJ.
Do you have any other info that might connect
these people with you?
