Joan,
My ancestors arrived from Ireland around 1851. They attended St Peter's which is now only a school - their records are in the care of St. Bridget's.

I have not been able to locate their graves either. My only hope is that they are in Jersey City Cemetary which isn't kept up very well. Otherwise I have no idea where to look.
