Hi folks,
While I was offering a free copy of The Monmouth Connection, the
newsletter of the Monmouth County Genealogy Society, (and accepting cracks
from Floridians about our weather) I forgot to mention FFOMC.
First Families of Old Monmouth County began during Family History Month
(October) 2001. Those whose applications have been submitted by 31 Oct 2002
will be Charter Members.
"Any individual who can prove direct descent from a person who settled
in the area now encompassed by the counties of Monmouth and Ocean by the
year 1725 and before may become a member of the First Families of Monmouth
County upon acceptance of the applicatoin and payment of the fee." -- $40.
