Monmouth County Genealogy Society (MCGS) has a new look...

MCGS has transferred our website to a Rootsweb.com URL [
http://www.rootsweb.com/~njmcgs/ ]. With this change, a completely
redesigned website organized in a topical format was developed. A
"button" and corresponding webpage has been created for many of the
different groups within the Society, e.g., membership, publications,
First Families of Old Monmouth County, etc.

We've also added an online Calendar of Events for upcoming meetings,
events, and trips. Our Publications page has been expanded to include
online Surname indexes of *Volumes 1-5* of the Bible Records, a writeup
on a new publication and the "hot item" in recent sales. The First
Families of Old Monmouth County page has the membership application and
instructions online.

For those interested in obtaining speakers for their community groups or
society, our Speaker's Bureau page provides a list of suggested
genealogical topics. Family History Month's success in the past twelve
years is illustrated with annual awards to essay contest winner's. Our
Links page offers a wonderful array of links relating to genealogy in
Monmouth County and New Jersey.
