Sussex Independent, Sussex, NJ, Friday, October 25, 1918

Thurber Case
Word was received in Newton Monday of the death from influenza and pneumonia
at Pelham Bay of Thurber Case, twenty-one years old. He was the son of
Obadiah P. Case of Newton. the young man enlisted last summer in the Naval
Reserve and went into training last August. The body was brought home to
Newton for burial.
