Miss Grace Elizabeth Ross died at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home
of her sister, Mrs. Michael McConnell, in this village; She was twenty-five
years of age, and the daughter of Thomas J. Ross of Stockholm. she is
survived by her father and the following brothers and sisters: Anna, wife of
Enos Beatty of Sparta; Elizabeth Ross and Frank Ross of Stroudsburg, Pa.;
Jessie Current of Lafayette; Whitfield Ross and Rosa Ross of Stockholm; Asa
J. Ross of Augusta; John Bales, of Butler and Frances P. Ross of Stockholm.
No regular funeral services were held. A brief prayer was made at the house
and the ceremony at the grave was performed by her pastor, Rev. J Jamison
Wade, pastor of the Stockholm M.E. Church. The interment was in North
Church Cemetery Monday afternoon.
