Sussex Independent, Sussex, NJ, Friday, Oct. 18, 1918

Mrs. Eliza Rude died Wednesday of last week at her home in Ogdensburg, less
than twenty-four hours after the death of her husband, Samuel P. Rude. Both
deaths were caused by influenza. She is survived by five small children and
by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Little. Funeral services were held Sunday
and interment was made in the North Church Cemetery.
