Sussex Independent, Sussex, NJ, Friday, Oct. 18, 1918

Miss Lois Elizabeth Rude died Monday of pneumonia at her home in Hamburg,
after an illness of one week, aged eighteen years. She was born in Hamburg
and was the daughter of Abraham B. and Nellie Bird Rude. She was a member of
the Hamburg Presbyterian Church. The surviving relatives are her father,
stepmother, one half-brother and three half sisters. Funeral services were
held Thursday afternoon at the home , Rev. E.L. Cook officiating. Interment
was in North Church Cemetery.
