Greetings,

I have added a few things to my website that might be of interest to both Sussex and Morris Co. researchers.

- 1793 militia census for Vernon Twp., Sussex Co
- 1793 militia census for Hardiston Twp., Sussex Co.
- Roster of Capt. John S. Darcy's Company, 2nd Regt. NJ Militia (War of 1812) (Morris Co.)
- Roster of Capt. Joseph Budd's Company, 2nd Regt. NJ Militia (War of 1812) (Sussex Co.)
- Roster of Capt. Benjamin Coleman's Company, 2nd Regt. NJ Militia (War of 1812) (Sussex Co.)

I did notice some Morris Co. men listed in the Sussex Co. companies.

All of these can be found on my website in three different ways:

1. use my search engine feature; or
2. click on "what's new"; or
3. click on "The Archive" and check under census (1793) and military (War of 1812)

Beware when using the search engine, however. Whoever recorded the 1793 militia census was clearly not the Spelling Bee Champion of Sussex Co.
