Hi, folks,

I'll copy and paste Karen's thanks for all your helpful replies below.

Jan-

You are right, the people who were kind enough to answer you were so helpful..........I really cannot thank you enough.

I took Ginny's advice and called Devoe Funeral Home. They told me the contact at Hazen Cemetery was Mr. Myron Rasely (pronounced "race-lee") at 908-453-3454.

Jack, when he answered you, "hit the nail on the head". The maintenance people just want to get done so they rush through the mowing of the grass, not really caring what they do to the headstones or markers. I think they should take more care because it is a cemetery but I guess they don't really care because it is not THEIR loved ones who are there.

Regarding Brian Rhodes, the cemetery to which I am referring is not the "church yard" cemetery on the corner but the newer Hazen cemetery which is less than 600 feet from the light at the intersection of Route 519 and Hazen-Belvidere Road. The "church cemetery" is a very, very old cemetery.

I will be calling Mr. Rasely this afternoon. Thank you again so much for your help and kindness. Hope you have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!

Karen Riddle
