Sorry, I don't know Dirk and Hendrik's father. I got the info from Jaap Bes's Web page. As my mother was a Bes, and Guurtje de Vries was her grandmother. Guurtje de Vries was born in de Beemster.

And Hendrik married an Aaltje Oene, who died 12-8-1933 in Zaandam.
