According to 1900 census,L.S. Bell was living in Bernalillo County (Precinct #26) with wife Charlotte, and sons John H., Jeff G., and Fred. His name was actually Lovic Beall (pronounced Bell and often written that way). In many records he appears as Louis - probably due to handwriting. Lovic was from Texas, son of Peterson C. Beall and Mary Ann Grady/Gracy. Charlotte was born in Ohio, daughter of Henry and Mary Catherine (mnu) Packard. Lovic and Charlotte married in 5 September 1876 in Sedgewick Co, KS, where the Packard family lived.

Would like to know where District #26 is located in Bernalillio and will share any data on the Bealls/Bells and Packards.
