Anita Baldonado, 92, a resident of Algodones, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Anita was born September 9, 1912 in Cuba, New Mexico the daughter of Crisantos and Margarita Lucero DeHerrera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduvigen Baldonado in 2000; and by two children, Marcial and Leroy Baldonado. Anita is survived by three sons, Jimmy Baldonado and wife, Theresa of Algodones, Gilbert Baldonado and wife, Mary of Algodones, Julian Baldonado and wife, June of Tijeras, NM; five daughters, Lillian Rivera and husband Richard, of Algodones, NM, Angelita Garcia and husband, Alejandro of Albuquerque, Sadie Baldonado of Algodones, Lorraine Segura of Albuquerque, and Esther Lerma of Reserve, NM; two daughter-in-laws, Priscilla Baldonado and Gloria B. Dominguez; 31 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; and 23 Great great-grandchildren; plus numerous nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be recited on Monday, September 5, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of !
Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo with the Mass of Resurrection on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Donald Rivera, Eddie Garcia, Mark Segura, Ernie Baldonado, Anthony Baldonado, Gilbert Baldonado, Jr., and Nathan Dominguez; Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Baldonado, Ronald Rivera, and Eric Baldonado.
