Louise Frattini Dietrick, 81, called God on June 26, 2006, and told Him to take her to His heavenly home. Louise is survived by her son, Douglas A. Dietrick and wife, Donna; daughter, Doreen Dietrick Valerio, and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Garrett A. Dietrick and wife, Annie, Justin A. Dietrick, and Daniell A. Valerio; great-grandchildren, Samantha A. Dietrick and Parker L. Dietrick; sister, Josephine A. Alvino; nieces, Giovanna Alvino, Teresa Caskey, and Virginia Ehler; special nieces, Rosemary Alvino Ditmore and husband, Donald, Pamela A. Bartels and husband, Alfred and daughter, Elisabeth; cousins, Sergio Frattini and Rosa Muleri; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Howard V. Dietrick, who passed away in 1991; her sister, Mary Garofalo, who passed away in 1986; and her parents, Urbano Frattini and Palmina Muleri Frattini. Louise was born in Corona, Queens, NY on January 17, 1925. She moved to Albuquerq!
ue from Long Island, New York, with her family in 1960. She worked for Albuquerque Public Schools in Cafeteria Services and also as a substitute teacher's aide. She was a draftswoman for C&D Consultants and Designers and later a secretary for the Joint Apprentice School for Plumbers & Pipefitters. Louise loved people and enjoyed her free time actively participating in the Italian Women's Charity Club, Club Culturale Italiano, the Fiesta Singers, Salida Elks Club BPOE #808, and more recently, the Friends of Italian Culture, Palo Duro Senior Center, and the Choir and Golden Agers of Our Lady of The Annunciation Parish. Louise will be lovingly remembered for her positive outlook on life in spite of the adversities she faced, especially in recent years with her declining health, her strong faith in God, and her giving, charitable heart. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2006 at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.!

1 Vermont NE. Cremation has taken place. Louise will be interred with her husband, Howard, at Santa Fe National Cemetery on July 5, 2006. The family would like to give special thanks to Louise's many caregivers who handled her with grace and dignity in her final days: Frank Mowry, MD, John Batty, MD, and Robert Ferraro, MD, and special friend, Ed Cazzola, MD.
