Mr. Scholl has updated his Grant County Death Records adding ten cemeteries plus 10,000 other records. This is a tremendous undertaking.

Lea County has a new resource: Lea County NM ALHN, SleepingAncestors

Louanna Gortarez is working on a database for Taos County: RECORDS OF INTERMENTS; Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe Taos County, New Mexico; Published with the Approbation of His Eminence Cardinal Gibbons; From
November 20th 1902. This great project will be ongoing.

Jose Romero is working on an excellent three-part project for Taos County, Vadito Cemetery Plot Map; Vadito Cemetery Survey; Vadito Cemetery Photos. This is a long-term project.

David Minton, our Representative for Lea County, has graciously submitted 12 cemetery resources for researchers. Please see:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nma/leadavidminton.htm These surveys are the most current for this County.

Coming in 2007: Look for cemeteries with linking obituary pages for some counties.

We have expanded our FGS project to include appropriate family photos, cemetery photos and tombstone photos. See:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nma/fgsgjp.htm for an example.

NM ALHN welcomes independent webmasters to join us as Coordinators or become affiliated. We continue to welcome County Coordinators from other projects, such as AHGP and USGenWeb to join us or have Joint County projects.
Coordinators retain their own copyright. We can also assist interested parties in obtaining web space or NM ALHN can provide pages on our web site. We can handle the technical side allowing volunteers to concentrate on his or her project.

Do you have an idea for online genealogy? We can help you make your idea possible.

NM ALHN
