My husband has a link to this line, his direct ancestor is their oldest daughter Mari, b. Dec. 15, 1815. Here is what I have in his genealogy:

Ole Knudsen
b. Apr. 29, 1788
d. not found

married Jan. 8, 1809 in Hedalen/Heidal

Kari Hansdatter Selsjord
b. Nov. 19, 1787
d. Aug. 8, 1843

My husband is descended from their daughter:
Mari Olsdatter Ellingsboeie
b. Dec. 15, 1815
d. Aug. 8, 1902

she married on Feb. 18, 1844

Knud Knudsen Fougstadeie
b. June 7th, 1815
d. Dec. 15, 1882

Their daughter Mari Knudsdatter Sletteeie
b. Feb. 15th, 1847 in Heidal
d. June 12, 1932 in Fillmore County, Minnesota (near Harmony, MN.)

married Apr. 7, 1867 in Heidal

and emigrated with her husband
Ole Hansen Ekreeie
b. Feb. 11, 1842 in Heidal
d. Nov. 9, 1924 in Harmony, Fillmore County, Minnesota

They emigrated to Fillmore County in Minnesota, where they homesteaded, had lots of kids and lots of descendants. Plus encouraged lots of Heidal relatives to come over and join them. Some relatives homesteaded in Grant and Douglas Counties, in Minnesota.
