The death index covers the entire state and depending on the years will
give the date of death, possible middle initial, possible spouse
initial and county the person died in, plus the state file number. If
you have dates that cover from 1905-1939 it also has the age of the
person, and if you have anyone in 1960-1969 it gives the mother's
maiden name if known. From 1940 on it will include the social security
number if the person hsd one.
